Mercedes-Benz have long been renown for their dynamic design so when they unveiled their concept for the Mercedes-Benz Motor Yacht at the 2012 Monaco Yacht Show, there was great pleasure in witnessing their futuristic interpretation of a luxury motor yacht.
Four years later – with the help of Silver Arrows Marine – this concept has now become a reality, with the unveiling of the first Mercedes-Benz Arrow 460 Granturismo Edition Yacht’s manufactured for the public, recently spotted in the French Riviera.
The yacht’s interior features an elegant ambience that provides the Mercedes-Benz signature style on board. The yacht’s variable space can be flexibly adapted to the occasion – for day trips or staying on board overnight.
14 metres long the “Silver Arrow of the seas” features sleek design elements contained in Mercedes’ famous sports cars, reflecting the dynamic design the German brand stands for. The Yacht can accommodate 10 passengers and runs on twin Yanmar diesel engines with 480 horsepower and a top speed of 40+ knots. The luxury air conditioned interior typifies Mecerdes-Benz Style, including an upscale bathroom, a wine cellar, a dressing room, and an ice-making machine.
Only ten of the Mercedes-Benz Style Arrow 460 Granturismo Edition Yacht will be made available at the very reasonable price tag of £1.2 million ($1.7 milllion USD).
