To preserve taste and conserve the time honoured Macallan distillery process, The Flask has undertaken exacting regimens and processes to ensure the true taste of the single malt is maintained. The inner flask, laser welded and made of food grade steel is wrapped in carbon fibre composite as well as treated to an intensive passivation and electro-polishing procedure. Clad in black anodized 5-axis machined aerospace grade Aluminium, the sophisticated mechanics of The Flask are more than adequately fit for purpose
Design features harking form the technical expertise of Oakley serve to enhance the whisky drinking experience while protecting your beloved spirit when in transit; the rubberised bottom makes for a reassuring grip while a small rectangular air vent on the side of the funnel to allows the whisky to be suitably ventilated.
The Flask’s spring-loaded cap ensures a smooth opening and closing experience, while keeping the cap an appropriate distance away from the mouthpiece so as not to intrude on your drinking enjoyment.
Along with the flask comes a ‘machined’ aluminium funnel designed to securely thread into the mouthpiece, to hence reducing the wastage when filling.
The robust and industrial aesthetic of The Flask makes for a bold and impactful statement; overtones of military and machinery, are insinuated by the precision milling of the outer case to the multi layered construction of matte black steel and carbon fibre.
