Monsieur de Chanel men’s watch by CHANEL

Monsieur de Chanel men’s watch by CHANEL

Since the first Chanel women’s watch arrived in 1987 the men’s market have been waiting patiently for their own iteration, and we’re pleased to report that it’s on the horizon. We’re also please to report that, rather than clone the popular ceramic J12 design that proved so popular, they have designed a timepiece truly fitting of the men’s watch sector.

Of course there will be protagonists coming from the horology classicists section, but eyes don’t lie – this is a beautiful watch. Chanel took their time – excuse the pun – to create their first manual-winding mechanical movement Calibre 1, five years in fact. With a double complication consisting of 170 components, the watch also features a 240-degree display, and an Instant Jumping Hour with retrograde minute indication.
