The most established of houses have always been able to see beyond age, ethnicity and beliefs. Taking this notion into consideration Giorgio Armani have presented the visuals for their autumn/ winter 2017-18 collection.
In collaboration with Dutch photographer Annemarieke van Drimmelen each image is delivered in a unique hue that is representative not only of the diversity in cast, but also the characteristics of each individual. Featuring the likes of Lara Mullen, Lineisy Montero, Aleksandar Rusic, and Hao Yun Xiang to name a few, the line-up is formidable.
With black and white portraits sitting alongside rich colourful landscapes the gallery of images is consistent yet reminiscent of yester year campaigns. With each image, a juxtaposition of themes, it is impressive that they remain somewhat consistent.
Personal to the individual these images are more a display of curated artfulness, than fashion phenomenon.
