Champagne purist will know that initially the water of celebration was made far sweeter than what we are used to today. The colloquial term for this classical option was ‘Rich’ -meaning sweet. With this in mind the maison Veuve Clicquot have channeled this perception with the launch of their new offering entitled RICH.

Unlike typical champagne RICH is made with the idea of mixology in mind. Using a variation grapes, this sweeter version allows the drinker to experience the intricate taste, allowing them to tailor the experience by fusing it with traditional cocktail ingredients.

‘Clicquologists’ are encouraged to create cocktails to suit their own personal taste. RICH allows you to express versatility and create your own tasting experience.

To curate this elegant addition the house have increased the dosage of their signature Pinot Noir as well as emphasising the presence of meunier – bringing out the fruity elements that allow the user to experience a world of ease and opulence.

Veuve Clicquot RICH will be served exclusively at a number of London destinations.
