‘Vol 3 by Yvonne Koné’ is a chilled compilation by Danish fashion designer Yvonne Kone. Known for a design approach that balances Scandinavian simplicity with her own Ivory coast heritage,  she has an understanding of colour and form that is notable. With a strong set of global influences, her designs show as much respect to artisans of the past as it does for forward-thinking notions – with a language that manifests itself into a line of wearable staples. After founding her namesake label in 2011 she quickly rose to prominence receiving the Elle Style Award in 2017 to become one Denmarks most influential voices. This has been coupled with multiple other achievements including the opening of her store on Strandstræde, Copenhagen, which serves as a reminder of her inspiration and dialogue of seeing colour as a medium for conversation.

The perfect backdrop for spring and summer nights her playlist crosses multiple genres. Starting with the illustrious Jai Paul before shifting through to Jenny Wilson and the melodic synths of Thundercat, the intro is smooth. It then turns to classics from Wham!, Ms. Lauryn Hill and Bill Withers that sit perfectly between endless Steve Lacy features 6lack harmonies.
