The prize in question is a beautifully presented bottle of Chivas 12 blended Scotch whiskey, which comes packaged in a gift tin adorned with deconstructed watch elements and imagery to showcase the elegant and complex engineering of Bremont chronometers. Alongside the award-winning whiskey is a classically stylish, polished steel Bremont ‘Chivalry’ watch, complete with an alligator strap. In the true spirit of synergy, the watch features an actual a piece of oak cask used in the maturation process of Chivas Regal whiskies. As if to seal the bond between the two esteemed companies, the signature of James and John Chivas sits etched upon the rotor of the timepiece and the Chivas crest lies subtly embossed on the dial. An engraved copper plate, taken from a retired Scotch whisky copper still, decorates on the leather presentation pouch.
Craftsmanship, style and generosity and the three tenets of the day and, loyal to their promise, Chivas Regal and Bremont will donate the proceeds of the auction to The Prince’s Trust Enterprise Program – a charity devoted to empowering vulnerable young people with the practical and financial support they need to stabilise their lives.
