This is a wonderful new British brand and Moon of Baroda is the Jewel in the Crown. This is an original construct in that it is circular rather than the traditional pyramid. The top note is the best Lebanese cedarwood that I have ever come across – it is warm and dry and you can smell the sunshine in the wood. This segues into Taif Rose – the rarest and most expensive of the roses – it’s sheer beauty is unequalled. The base is Lebanese Cedarwood again so the scent moves from cedar to rose and back again ad infinitum – which makes it hypnotic.
Exclusive to Selfridges globally, Thameen Moon of Baroda is priced at £145 (50ml).
