Occasionally good news can be like the proverbial bus; it all comes at once. So it was with North Face’s Carnaby Store opening last week where they also introduced a new Japanese capsule collection, in a veritable “win win” scenario.
The first ever North Face lifestyle store, the product itself is a curated symphony of the North Face brand, a combination of their main Urban Exploration lifestyle product line for both men and women along with limited edition pieces and famed brand collaborations.
The aforementioned Japanese Capsule collection takes original North Face staple pieces and gives them a clean, more contemporary aesthetic that blends in with any man’s wardrobe. Despite it being a capsule collection there is still space for more directional pieces, with some styles featuring a digital camouflage print in a dialled back monochromatic colour scheme.

A collection born mountains and reimagined for an urban audience, the Japanese capsule is just one of many exclusive lines – men’s and women’s – that will be landing in their new Carnaby St store in the coming months.
The store opened last Thursday with a performance from British singer and songwriter Raye; a sign of the contemporary direction and eclectic mix of genres available from North Face’s latest retail environment.
