Alfred Dunhill: Portraits of Achievement

Alfred Dunhill: Portraits of Achievement

People with aspirations are all exceptional, but JOSHUA’s harbor a special place for those that actually achieve the unthinkable and turn those aspirations into reality. Such is the case of Sam Waley-Cohen, the amateur racehorse jockey who became a champion. Yes there have been many outstanding victors over the years, but Sam is different – for Sam horseracing is a hobby, he does it in his spare time. He isn’t paid to do it, he does it simply for the love of it.

In 2011, Sam Waley-Cohen became the first amateur jockey for 30 years to win the Cheltenham Gold Cup, doing so in a record time.

Success is inspiration; drawing on the dedication and true grit of those who can’t help but be themselves and achieve extraordinary things along the way.  For The Love is Alfred Dunhill’s 30minute ’embodiment’ of this magnificent story.

For The Love will be aired in full on Channel 4 (UK), at 9am on Saturday 24th November, before the Betfair Chase at Haydock.
